Mars Express view of the Phobos-Grunt mission landing site
Mars Express obtained this image of Phobos, the largest of the Martian moons, when it flew by on 9 January 2011, passing at a distance of 100km.
Image of Phobos with a resolution of 8.2 m/pixel in orbit 8974. The ellipses marked the previously planned (red) and currently considered (blue) landing sites for the Russian Phobos-Grunt mission.
