Date: 02 February 2011
Copyright: ESA/ROB

This sequence from 7 June 2010 shows the solar activity for the entire day, with the time series of the LYRA instrument in the top panel and the images from SWAP in the lower panels.

The LYRA time series represents the incoming solar flux in the zirconium band (at wavelengths of 6 to 20 nm). The A-class and B-class flares of the day are annotated.

The rectangle in the lower left panel is shown in higher resolution on the right side and the individual flaring activity is clearly visible.
