SOHO Status Report - November 2007

Mission StatusThe spacecraft status is nominal, with the High Gain Antenna (HGA) Z-axis in a fixed position.

A nominal station keeping and momentum management manoeuvre was performed on 30 August, followed by a 180° roll on 31 August. 0.2180 kg of fuel was used. The remaining hydrazine is 117 kg. The solar array degradation after 136 months of flight is 19.0%, which corresponds to 1.62% per year.

An Operational Readiness Review (ORR) for SOHO automated operations was held in two stages on 19 July and 6 September. After rigorous testing for three months, the newly developed system for SOHO automated operations has been declared ready for operational support during unmanned night operations starting at the end of September 2007. The SOHO Mission Management Plan has been updated accordingly.
