Mission operations have been conducted with support of the ESA New Norcia (NNO) ground station.

At the end of the reporting period (DoY 149) Rosetta was at 266.4 million km from Earth (1.78 AU) and the one-way signal travel time was 889 seconds. The distance to the Sun was 288.8 million km (1.93 AU).

Since DoY 091/2009 the accumulation settings are configured for passive cruise mode.
Future Milestones
The current passive cruise phase will continue until beginning of September when the spacecraft will be reconfigured in active cruise mode in preparation of the Earth swing-by 3 phase.
After the successful launch of Herschel and Planck on 14 May 2009, and the subsequent use of the New Norcia ground station for these two missions en route to L2, a minor re-planning activity of Rosetta's hibernation phase is required to comply with slightly shorter ground station contact times.
