Rosetta navigation camera (NavCam) image taken on 9 March 2015 at 71.9 km from the centre of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The image measures 6.3 km across and has a scale of about 6.1 m/pixel.
The image has been cleaned to remove the more obvious bad pixels and cosmic ray artefacts, and intensities have been scaled.
This image has been enhanced to bring out the details of the comet's activity and it has been slightly cropped. The original image is available here.
