Rosetta navigation camera (NavCam) image taken on 12 May 2015 at 166 km from the centre of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The image measures 14.5 km across and has a scale of about 14 m/pixel.
The image has been cleaned to remove the more obvious bad pixels and cosmic ray artefacts, and intensities have been scaled.
This image has been enhanced to bring out the details of the comet's activity and the small lobe's silhouette. The original image is available here.
