Comet 67P/C-G on 2 June 2016 - NavCam, enhanced
Rosetta navigation camera (NavCam) image taken on 2 June 2016 at 23.6 km from the centre of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The image measures 2.1 km across and has a scale of about 2 m/pixel.
The image has been cleaned to remove the more obvious bad pixels and cosmic ray artefacts, and intensities have been scaled. The faint vertical striping effect is an image artifact.
This image has also been contrast enhanced. The original image is available here.
