Titan and Lunar Surface Compared
This image shows on the left a composite view from images taken by the Descent Imager/Spectral Radiometer (DISR) after the landing of the Huygens probe on Titan's surface on 14 January 2005. On the right is a similarly scaled picture taken on the Moon's surface. Objects near the centre of the picture are roughly the size of a man's foot. Objects at the horizon are a fraction of a man's height.
The Cassini-Huygens mission is a cooperative project between NASA, ESA and Italy's ASI space agency.
