Saturn's moon Mimas, and its defining feature, Herschel Crater to the right. The crater is about 139 km across, almost one-third the diameter of the moon.

The view was acquired by Cassini's narrow-angle camera on 22 October 2016 at a distance of approximately 185 000 km. Image scale is 1 km/pixel. More information.

The Cassini mission is a cooperative project of NASA, ESA and the Italian Space Agency.
