This view shows the 1.5m × 1.4m × 1.5m CHEOPS spacecraft platform from the top of the spacecraft. Looking down into the spacecraft, the cavity where the telescope payload will be mounted can be seen. The telescope payload, which is being assembled in Bern, will eventually sit between the flat, golden-edged solar panels, with the telescope tube attached to the front-facing, circular aperture seen in the image.
