The CHEOPS Mission Operations Centre (MOC) is located at the Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial in Torrejón, Spain. Here operators will monitor the state of the spacecraft and issue telecommands. A high degree of automation has been implemented in the Mission Control System (MCS) and the MOC for receiving data, but operators are required to check and uplink the weekly activity plans issued by the Science Operations Centre (SOC). In coming months, operators will be trained to deal with possible anomalies using a simulator.
