During acoustic noise testing, the mechanical response of the CHEOPS satellite to the sound pressure of launch was recorded using accelerometers fitted to the spacecraft structure. This image shows the scale of the Large European Acoustic Facility (LEAF) at ESA's technical centre in the Netherlands, which is the largest test chamber of its kind in Europe.
