The CHEOPS Mission Operations Centre (MOC) in Torrejón de Ardoz, Spain, will have contact with the CHEOPS satellite as it passes over ground stations at Torrejón or Villafranca, both located near Madrid. There will be 5 to 6 ground station passes per day, each lasting 7 to 10 minutes. All passes will be used to downlink telemetry, while one pass per week will be used to uplink telecommands.

ESA's Kiruna ground station in Sweden will be added to provide extra passes during the critical first days of operations.
