This is the mirror blank for the 1.2-m-diameter Euclid primary mirror.  

The mirror is made of silicon carbide (SiC) and will be covered with a CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) cladding before polishing. A silver coating for the 550-2100 nm spectral range will later be deposited on the highly polished surface.
