The lights of North American cities, as seen by the OSIRIS narrow-angle camera (NAC). This view is roughly centred on Florida. Some of the cities are clearly visible, while others like New York are covered by clouds, making the light diffuse.
The image was taken with a 10-second long exposure on 13 November 2009 at 04:44 UTC, just 3 hours before closest approach of Rosetta's third Earth swingby.
