The photo shows the Rosetta spacecraft in preparation for thermal testing in the Large Space Simulator at ESA's ESTEC facility, The Netherlands.

The spacecraft is covered in thermal blanket insulation, and the small white rectangular features on the near side are the radiating louvres.

The lander, Philae, can be seen at the top of the spacecraft.
