Comet 67P/C-G on 24 September 2014 - NavCam image B
Full-frame Rosetta navigation camera (NAVCAM) image taken on 24 September 2014 at 28.5 km from the centre of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
NAVCAM image sequences are now being taken as small 2×2 rasters, such that roughly one quarter of the comet is seen in the corner of each of the four images. A mosaic of all four images from this sequence, stitched together to show the full comet, is available here.
More images of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko can be found in the '67P - by Rosetta' collection.
