One of the Zond series of Soviet lunar probes, evoked by Alexander Basilevsky during his presentation. Zond-5, he jokingly recalled, had been the first spacecraft, in September 1968, to carry living creatures - including turtles and bacteria - around the Moon and that before Apollo 8!
