This image of Crater Casini on the Moon was taken on 19 January 2005 with the highly compact, lightweight and rugged AMIE camera on board ESA's SMART-1 spacecraft. AMIE stands for the Advanced Moon Micro-Imager Experiment (AMIE) experiment. Cassini has a diameter of 57 km and is located at 40º North on the edge of Mare Imbrium.
