Comet 67P/C-G on 12 August 2015 (09:45 UTC) - NavCam, enhanced
Rosetta navigation camera (NavCam) image taken on 12 August 2015, at 09:45 UTC, at 336 km from the centre of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The image measures 29.3 km across and has a scale of about 28.6 m/pixel.
This image is one in a sequence of three NavCam images taken over a forty-minute period. An animated sequence of the three images is available here.
The image has been cleaned to remove the more obvious bad pixels and cosmic ray artefacts, and intensities have been scaled.
